Online Store

Hello Friends,
I’m just announcing that I’m opening my store own needleshop The Stitching Shop.

Shop at The Stitching Shop

So please don’t make fun of me because I only have 4 products… so far. I plan on stocking the shop with tons of supplies that I love.  Ottawa area residents can do a local pick up.  I use to be a customer of the Cross-Stitch Cupboard, but it closed a few years ago and now we have no store.  No anymore. fell free to ask questions, specials request at info@thestitchingshop.com.
Thanks
Alexandra

Another finished project !

So glad I’m finally done this one.  It’s from the French Magazine Création Point de Croix and the design and from Véronique Enginger. I just used a sticky board and mounted it on it. The project is called “Le SAL de La Brodeuse”

A baby is coming…

I’m expecting my son for October 2nd 2012.  I wanted to stitch something that would commemorate his  birth.  I found the pattern in the book : Souvenir d’enfances aux point de croix by Véronique Enginger. It’s an amazing book with lots of projects.  This project is stitched on 28 count natural linen.

Poppy x-stitch

A while ago a fell in love with this design from a discontinued French magazine, De Fil en Aiguille.  I’ve started this while I was recovering from surgery.  The design is part of the series Étude Botanique.  The designer of this pattern is Veronique Enginger.  She is my favourite designer. Here what I’ve done so far:

Project Finished

Project Finished!  I can’t believe it.  I’ve started this almost 1 year ago.  It was about time.  Don’t know yet what I’m join to do with it. Any ideas?  It’s a pattern from a discontinued French Magazine, De Fil en Aiguille.  Stitched on 30 count evenweave. (I think)
